After completing an honours degree from King's College London, I joined the Civil Service. Following an accomplished and successful career spanning more than 13 years, I decided to change direction and trained, firstly in acupuncture and subsequently in Chinese herbal medicine, at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCTA). I hold Licentiate Diplomas in acupuncture (Lic. Ac.) (2002) and Oriental Herbal Medicine (Lic. O.H.M.) (2004) and I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine. I have also recently qualified in Hypnotherapy, attaining a Hypnotherapy Practising Diploma (HPD) in 2010.
Qualifying in Oriental medicine in the UK requires comprehensive study and qualification in Western medical science and pharmacology as well as in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
In addition to acquiring a thorough grounding in the TCM treatment of disease at LCTA, I have also attended numerous postgraduate courses in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine given by highly respected figures in the world of TCM medicine, including Giovanni Maciocia, Peter Deadman, Jane Lyttleton and Zita West. I am the Affiliate Member of the Zita West National Network for Reproductive Health for Essex and also a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN). Whilst my special interest lies in women's health and assisting couples to conceive, I have also acquired significant experience in the treatment of pain, anxiety and depression, headaches and migraines and digestive problems.

Although conveniently located inbetween the station and the high street in the heart of Brentwood, Essex, I aim to provide a tranquil space in which my clients can relax.
I work full-time from my treatment room offering excellent flexibility in appointment times and, for added convenience, I accept debit and credit card payments.
